Mr. Md Shakhawat Hossain Bhuiyan, former Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank. He completed his graduation from the Department of Applied Physics and Electronics, Dhaka University. After that he completed his MBA (with major in finance)  and awarded Chancellor's gold medal. He is a DAIBB.

He joined Bangladesh Bank as AD in 1993 and has 32 years of experience on banking and financial sector.

He participated in various training courses and workshops both locally and internationally.

Mr. Bhuiyan is also a writer, member of Bangladesh Bridge Federation. Moreover he is an amateur wildlife photographer and conservationist.
