Md. Ashraf-Ur-Rahman is a distinguished professional specialized in Corporate Governance, Corporate Laws, Regulatory Compliances and Secretarial Functions. Currently serving as the Group Company Secretary at IIDFC PLC. His responsibility encompasses up to the Secretariat of the subsidiaries of the IIDFC PLC. 

He brings extensive experience from previous leadership roles, including Company Secretary at Meridian Finance & Investment Limited and Acting Company Secretary at Sheba Platform Limited. He has attained a versatile experience by working in different industries that includes RMG, Group of Industries, etc. 

Throughout his career, he has excelled in managing board operations, reforming board/committees, ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance, managing stakeholders’ matters and maintaining records and registers. Ashraf is recognized for his ability to establish robust governance frameworks and maintain statutory integrity. He also has a proven track record of managing high-stakes projects, including incorporating foreign company, successfully navigating due diligences, serving as the Focal Point Officer to the Bangladesh Bank, etc. 

Professionally, he is enrolled with the Chartered Secretary (CS) program at the Institute of the Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB), alongside Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from
Jahangirnagar University.
